Our Diving Trips – Liveaboards

For the more adventurous diver, we offer a wide variety of liveaboard safari trips that range from a weekend to an entire week at sea. Our safari boats provide an unmatched experience for divers looking to visit Egypt’s pristine, offshore reefs and wrecks. Plus, on a safari boat, the only things you need to do are eat, sleep, and dive. The time between dives can be spent relaxing on the sun deck, taking a nap in your cabin, watching a movie in the saloon, or star gazing at night.

As an operation, we have unique flexibility when it comes to scheduling the best liveaboard experiences. While most safari boats operate on a traditional 7-day schedule, our liveaboard experiences range anywhere from a quick weekend getaway up to 10+ days at sea. And not only that, our team provides custom routes that you will not find with your standard safari operators. One of our favorite routes is the Best of the Red Sea where we cruise from Ras Mohammed National Park in the Northern part of the Red Sea down to St. John’s in the Deep South in one sailing. 

Learning is also an integral part of our liveaboard experience. Whether you are a beginner diver or an experienced diver, we are passionate about sharing our knowledge and expertise in diving with guests. Whether it be learning new skills like sidemount diving, expanding your diving range with enriched air, or learning about marine conservation, our team of highly trained PADI professionals is always looking for ways to empower our divers to feel more confident in their diving abilities and to learn new ways in which they can help preserve our marine ecosystems.

WHAT IS A LIVEABOARD

Most divers start their underwater adventure with a dive center that conducts their dives either shore or daily boat diving. And while these are great options for a variety of use, most certified divers prefer a third option; a liveaboard. Liveaboards, also known as safaris, are an all-inclusive experience where divers have everything needed to “dive, eat, and sleep”. The Red Sea is home to some of the largest and luxurious liveaboard boats with amenities that rival some of the best land-based accommodations. Often with multiple sundecks, large double rooms with ensuite bathrooms, indoor saloons and dining areas, and highly trained chefs, safari boats provide the ultimate accommodations for water enthusiasts.

DAILY LIVEABOARD ITINERARY

Our mornings at sea start early as we gather for hot and fresh morning coffee and enjoy the rising sun. After our coffee and biscuits have been consumed, our preparation for diving starts with our first dive site briefing of the day. Once our briefings and buddy checks are complete, it’s time to jump into the water and start our underwater exploration. While on our dive, the kitchen staff is hard at work preparing a hot and fresh breakfast that is ready for us upon our return. After breakfast, there is plenty of time to relax until our next dive. 

Once we’ve had time to refill our diving tanks and allowed our breakfast to settle, our preparations for our second dive begin with our second dive site briefing. Upon returning from the dive, the kitchen staff has a hot and delicious lunch meal ready for our divers; we weren’t joking about “dive, eat, sleep”! 

The third dive of the day typically takes place in the afternoon, catching the last hour or so before the sun starts to set. Depending on the time of year, after the third dive, we love enjoying more delicious snacks from the kitchen while catching the final minutes of the setting sun. 

Depending on the route and sea conditions, night diving is often available for our fourth dive of the day. Due to safety reasons, night diving is not available at our shark diving destinations Brothers, Daedalus, or Elphinstone. Our day winds down with one of our favorite meals of the day; dinner! Don’t be surprised if our chef has found a way to roast a turkey, grill fresh fish, or even make sushi for dinner. After dinner we love spending our final hours of the day gazing at the stars, playing a board game, or enjoying a movie in the saloon together.
