Maldives!
December 25, 2022 @ 8:00 am - January 6, 2023 @ 5:00 pm
This year we are celebrating the holiday season diving the best of what Maldives has to offer. We will kick off the trip in Fuvahmulah a haven for sharks and pelagics. The tiny atoll of Fuvahmulah is the closest to the equator of all the country’s islands and reefs. This isolated equatorial location has given birth to a truly unique environment, earning Fuvahmulah the nickname of the Maldivian Galapagos. The resident tiger sharks first made Fuvahmulah famous, but visitors can also get up-close and personal with thresher sharks, scalloped hammerhead sharks, oceanic whitetip sharks, silvertip sharks, grey reef sharks and whitetip reef sharks. We will be doing 3 dives a day to of which are baited tiger shark dives and one reef dive.
After that we are going to head to Dhangetti for 3 more days of diving. Dhangethi is famous for its underwater world, especially for whale sharks. Diving in Dhangethi is a unique chance to visit protected places and admire striking reef clusters while having great chances of encountering whale sharks and manta rays.
